Multi Family Series Now Offered at Manorwood Homes

May 2009 Manorwood Homes introduced a new series called Multi Family Series. The Manorwood “System Built” method of construction has redefined Multi Family Housing. “System Building” reduces build time while maximizing value. Whether an elegant Duplex or sophisticated Townhouse all Manorwood designs represent the ultimate in style, economy, efficiency and quality.

Every home is built in a controlled environment, out of the elements, where the highest standards of quality control are maintained. No longer do you have to contend with weather delays and sub contractor delays. Primary components arrive 85% complete with site preparation taking place concurrently with component construction. Completion time is reduced by up to 50%. Faster construction time means quicker occupancy.

Manorwood Homes Payment Assurance Plan

Manorwood Homes is excited to announce a new partnership with our builders and retailers. We call it the Payment Assurance Plan, and it is our contribution to helping you own a new home.

If your builder or retailer participates in the Manorwood Homes Payment Assurance Plan, and if you qualify for the Plan, Manorwood Homes will pay up to 4 months of your mortgage payments if you are involuntarily laid off. There are some terms and conditions that apply, so make sure you talk with your Manorwood Homes builder for more information.

We believe our builders and retailers are the best in the business. We believe our homes are exceptionally well-built, with the ability to customize to meet your unique dreams. Now with the Payment Assurance Plan, we hope that now is the right time to buy a new Manorwood Home.

American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009

Signed into law on February, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act authorizes a tax credit of up to $8,000 for qualified first-time home buyers purchasing a principal residence on or after January 1, 2009 and before December 1, 2009.

Briefly, the tax credit is for first-time home buyers only and does not have to be repaid. The tax credit is equal to 10 percent of the home's purchase price up to a maximum of $8,000. The credit is available for homes purchased on or after January 1, 2009 and before December 1, 2009. There are some additional qualifications related to income and length of time in the home.

Click the “Register” link in the top right corner of any page through-out Manorwood’s website and you can start to build a home of your dreams. You will be able save and customize homes with options that are available, contact builders and download PDF brochures of homes of homes that you are interested in and receive information from Manorwood Home via e-mail if you choose. Universal Lifestyle Homes

Manorwood Homes is excited to introduce our new Universal Lifestyle Homes, meeting the diverse lifestyle needs of people in all stages of life. One of Manorwood's Universal Lifestyle Homes was the “featured home” on display at the 2007 National AARP® convention in Boston - literally built inside the convention hall.

It was a great demonstration of this home, Carefree (NE303A), it showed our commitment to livable homes and our construction technology. Thousands of people saw the home and the reception was outstanding. Other Universal Lifestyle Homes built at Manorwood include: The Infinity (NH342A), Independence (RL504A) and the Freehaven (NH341A).
