RECENT NEWS:
One of our Pennsylvania divisions, Manorwood Homes, has created several new Universal Lifestyle homes, meeting the diverse lifestyle needs of people in all stages of life. Manorwood's Universal Lifestyle home was the “featured home” on display at the 2007 National AARP® convention in Boston - literally built inside the convention hall. It was a great demonstration of the home, our commitment to livable homes, and our construction technology. Response was overwhelming, with thousands of people touring the home during AARP's national convention.
The Commodore Corporation is also proud to announce our selection by the Environmental Protection Agency as the ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year for 2007 - New Homes. Our Commodore Homes of Pennsylvania and Colony Factory Crafted Homes divisions have rapidly become the leading builders of ENERGY STAR qualified homes in the northeast. Compared with standard homes, ENERGY STAR qualified homes use substantially less energy for heating, cooling, and water heating. The typical household can save up to 30% on its energy bills – more than $600 per year – while improving home comfort and helping the environment.
