MANUFACTURED HOMES

Manufactured (i.e. HUD code) homes are built to a federal building standard, the Federal Manufactured Home Construction Safety Standards. It regulates the design, construction, structural durability, transportability, fire resistance and energy efficiency of a home. It also prescribes performance standards for the mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems. Manufactured homes are built and shipped on a permanent chassis.

Many of Commodore's manufactured homes are now ENERGY STAR® compliant, providing a more energy-efficient, comfortable home. By building our homes to this voluntary level of construction, our homeowners can help our environment and save money on their utility bills (compared to non-ENERGY STAR manufactured homes).
